  Track Record: Cedeño signed with the Yankees days after the international signing period opened on Jan. 15, 2025 and the dust had settled on the Roki Sasaki sweepstakes. He was born on Aug. 14, 2008, just days before the cutoff for this class. Thus, he was one of the youngest players to sign.
  
  Scouting Report: The Dominican shortstop has a short, quick swing geared toward drilling line drives and making plenty of contact. He shows more thump than would be expected for someone with medium physique. He is a plus runner with above-average arm strength and should have a strong chance to stick at shortstop.
  
  The Future: Cedeño will start his career in the Dominican Summer League and has a chance to be a well-rounded player who sticks up the middle.
