  Track Record: Signed out of Venezuela, Bucce made his Dominican Summer League debut in 2021. He returned there in 2022, and then spent 2023 and 2024 in the Florida Complex League, showing modest production that seemed to indicate that he was a solid organizational player. This year, he jumped to full-season ball and found another gear, showing improved power to go with his always impressive batting eye.
  
  Scouting Report: Bucce has real power potential which he pairs with an excellent understanding of the strike zone. He rarely swings at pitches out of the zone, and he rarely misses pitches in the zone. Bucce generates his power from a short stroke with a quiet setup. He hits too many groundballs right now, but that’s a minor flaw for what’s been an impressive breakout offensively. Defensively, he’s split time between first base and catcher. He’s thrown out just seven of 61 basestealers (11.5%) this year. He has seven throwing errors and nine passed balls in his first 19 games behind the plate.
  
  The Future: Bucce has plenty of work to do, but he has some real offensive potential.
